The success of our firm and principals is closely aligned with that of our clients due to our commitment to co-investing.

Competitive Strengths

Family-owned, well-capitalized enterprise focused on long-term results

Although MREG has institutional standards, reach and talent, its roots are those of a family-owned business that focuses on active multi-generational investing rather than asset allocation. In its equity business, this allows the firm to pursue urban in-fill projects with long lead times. Many of MREG’s equity investments are intended to be held for the long-term. Because the firm is not singularly reliant on outside capital for development projects, MREG assets are not typically subject to the kinds of forced disposition or outside dates that often arise in the real estate fund context.

Competitive Strengths

Spirit of partnership and service

MREG promotes an internal culture of collaboration, creativity and client service for its investors, borrowers and partners, and supports communities in which it invests through partnerships and charitable foundations.
